400-level Bowen varsity Medicine Student Wins essay competition
Vice Chancellor, Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Prof Joshua Ogunwole, has expressed gratitude to governor Gboyega Oyetola over the essay competition put up to celebrate the state’s 30 years of existence. Ogunwole, at an occasion to honour the winner, a 400-level Medicine and Surgery student of the institution, Victor Ayodeji Adeyemo, described the achievement as heart-warming, saying it was a welcome development for the institution. Adeyemo had emerged winner of the competition titled: “Unveiling the security architecture and dominating challenges in all the geopolitical zones of Nigeria.”
“It is in our character to identify and celebrate any of our students who distinguished himself or herself on occasions like this. Let me use this occasion to appreciate the governor for putting up such a programme to motivate students and improve their capacity. I dof my hat for him,” the VC said.
In his remarks, an elated Adeyemo expressed appreciation to the school and governor Oyetola for the opportunity.
