Most students find it difficult to choose their course of study in the higher institution, with these guides below, students should be able to make the right decisions. 
The following are the 10 best courses to study at the university, polytechnic and colleges.
1. Computer Science
 In this present century, technology is mother of the day. Almost all activities performed by humans are as a result of technology. 
Studying  computer courses creates room for a better career as both big and small companies are always looking for IT experts. Some firms even take it upon themselves to train the experts as some learning institutions do not teach some critical skills. If you choose to go into computer studies or information technology, just do it. It’s a nice course to study.
2. Economics
Social science is concerned with the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Employers of graduates of Economics include Accounting Firms, Banks, Brokerage Firms, Insurance Companies, Chambers of Commerce, Market Research Companies, Trade Associations, Import/Export Firms, etc.
3. Electrical Electronics Engineering
Graduates of Electrical and Electronics are high demand in industries, especially in oil and gas firms. They are also in high demand in also in production firms, IT companies, power distribution companies etc.
4. Accounting
Accountants perform overviews of the financial operations of a business in order to help it run efficiently. They can work in a variety of places depending on the role and task involved. Lawyers are necessary to take charge of the legal system. In Nigeria university/institutions, law is a competitive course. Companies, governments, and high-profiled individuals usually seek lawyers for advice or any other legal battle or emergency.

Actually, Law is an interesting and lucrative course. But one of its major disadvantages is that countries of the world do not follow the same legal processes. For instance, you can’t study law in Nigeria and practise or become a lawyer in other foreign countries. In other words, as a lawyer, you are restricted to practice law in the country where you studied the law. 

10. Mathematics and Statics

With the aid of computers, Mathematicians and statisticians use complex technology to manipulate data. The mathematicians help organizations or government by applying mathematical theories and techniques to solve practical problems. They collect data, analyze the data and present their findings with the aim of offering solutions to practical problems in business, engineering and Sciences.

Where do mathematicians work? 

People with degree in mathematics work in information technology, schools( as teachers/lecturers). They also conduct research at universities. Those with masters in mathematics work in other relevant places as they apply the knowledge of mathematics to real life situation.
